Lokdhun is a platform dedicated to promoting India's rich folk song culture. It celebrates the diverse folk tunes and ragas of the country, reviving the stories of the past through these melodies. Lokdhun is an inclusive space without boundaries, welcoming everyone, regardless of their background or language. It transcends literacy, as even those who don't understand the lyrics can appreciate the beauty and value of folk songs.

Project goal and objective
The project goals of Lokdhun are twofold: first, to diligently preserve and promote the rich tapestry of Indian folk music, with a focus on supporting and showcasing the country's talented folk artists. Secondly, with a long-term vision, Lokdhun aims to expand its scope to encompass folk music from all corners of the globe, fostering a global appreciation for traditional music. Central to these objectives is the mission to raise awareness about Indian folk music, educating and engaging individuals to build a vibrant community of enthusiasts who actively listen to and cherish this culturally significant art form. Through these goals, Lokdhun seeks to bridge cultures and preserve invaluable musical traditions, enriching the cultural landscape both locally and internationally.

Lokdhun, encompassing both its app and website platforms, has effectively filled a significant void in the digital space for folk music enthusiasts. By offering a centralized hub for folk songs, it has simplified the user experience, providing a convenient and enriching platform for discovery. The inclusion of a dedicated space for folk artists not only empowers them but also enhances the overall user experience by showcasing authentic and diverse performances. Process
Joining midway, I began by researching rival real estate websites, conducting a thorough competitor analysis. Then, I delved into Kavisha's existing site to uncover its strengths and weaknesses. To shape the website's redesign, I started with low-fidelity wireframes, refining them through collaborative discussions with colleagues who provided valuable input. After the high-fidelity wireframe got the green light, we moved forward to craft a polished, visually appealing final design.
